They're here!!
Hurrah! When I got home today, my 2 sporran straps from Robert at RKilts were waiting for me. For those who have not been following along, I only had a black, standard 3 tassel sporran with chain until I scored a casual brown sporran on eBay a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the belt was way too small to make it aound my waist! Robert was gracious enough, and he recognized an opportunity, to let me know he made sporran straps. I had seen the one he made for the sporran he made for Graham (search the archives, I don't have the link handy) and it looked great, with a braided portion where it attached to the sporran. So, since my black one only had a chain, I decided to order both a black one and a brown for my new brown casual sporran. Now black is a pretty easy color to match, but I am convinced that Robert snuck down from Canada one evening, got into my closet and checked the color of my brown sporran, as the brown strap is a perfect color match to my brown sporran, to the point that you would be convinced that they were made together, especially as they complement each other perfectly. Can't wait to wear it tomorrow!
Here they are:

Kilted Code Warrior your wife was very kind to let me in. She liked the British Tan leather kilt I was wearing...the girls weren't too sure, but hey Dad has some weird friends now that he's kilted... I would have left them in the hands of your lovely wife but the neighbours were getting nosey wondering what;s with all the kilted guys around your house...so I mailed them.

Ya it's hard to get a good picture of these things and at the moment I'm too busy to take the time to take a proper photo or my mind is off somewhere making warped sense of humour comments.
(Actually I just took a quick snap of the belts and emailed them to KCW so he could jones some more.. I'm not mean)
The belts I'm finding are popular, It's just finding the time to build them. But if I would stop trolling this site and the Madura site I could be more productive...hmmm there's a thought...nah..what was I thinking? ........

ROTFLKAO! Robert, don't do that when I am taking a sip of my drink! (not that you could KNOW when I am taking a sip!) We are either trading too many emails or you are reading too many of my posts on XMarks! But, as long as you continue to deliver quality products, I could care less! Just loved your response to the sneaking in post!
If anybody wants closer/additional pictures, let me know, and I will snap a few and post. I can't wait to wear the brown strap and sporran tomorrow.
