Thorfinn Custom Sporran 147

TCS 147 arrived today, and it is lovely. Or rather they are lovely, if you count each of the two lids - one all black, one with brown trim - as separate sporrans.



Sporran(s) by Turpin (his signature is visible on the stem of the second lid), with Oconee leather straps by Steve/Cavscout.

The 'backdrop' is the Warrior Tartan casual kilt, made by Bear, that I 'inherited' from Gary.

All XMarkers, all great to work with, all wonderful work.

I should have noted that I've already received more than a few items from/through Keltoi, all wonderful, as is John/Slohairt himself, but I won't be posting any pictures of that stuff until I have the kilt he'll be making for me (the timing of which now depends on Lochcarron). It's that purchase which kickstarted all my recent, utterly mad kilt-related activity ... such as joining XMarks.

Also today, in the same postal delivery, I received my latest issue of Historic Scotland, complete with a fine article on Doune Castle (with the obligatory Monty Python sidebar). The Thorfinn delivery kinda distracted me...
