    Thrift store find...Kilt pin

Many of you know I am a US Navy Submarine veteran. The Submarine Qualification insignia is this:

Check out this pin I found in a thrift store today:
    2013-09-03 06.58.17.jpg
It appears to be ceramic on a copper back and to me looks like half of the same sort of fish as on the Sub Insignia. What do you think? At $7.50 who can complain?

I think it is a great find Rondo and as it means something to you personally, it's icing on the cake. Cheers

    Very cool.
Kilts that mean more to you are even better.
My dad was a Navy hardhat diver and I have one of his pins that looks like the the two fish with a diving helmet in the middle. I think he called them serpents.

Very nice find. The fish look like heraldic dolphins.
