Ubiqitous, yes, but I love the look.

I've been staring at a Lovat Green Crail from Scotweb for some time now, and finally decided enough was enough.

The "expected dispatch date" is currently April 1st (April Fool's Day... LOL), so we'll have to see if that date holds, but I'd love to see this jacket and waistcoat in my wardrobe soon.

A very fine, highly practical choice, I'm sure you'll not regret the purchase--there's good reason you see it so often. I personally love the look of a matching kilt jacket and waist coat--I have a grey Arrochar tweed Argyle set myself. Very dashing. Congratulations!

Looks good can't wait to see pictures. I really like the brown I may have to save my pennies.

Ubiquitous though they may be, they do look great. Colour-wise, they go with darn near anything, and they have a classic stylish look. Congrats on the purchase!

I agree with Tobus. That colour, pretty much goes with everything.
I've always preferred the look of the jacket and waistcoat with a kilt. To my eye, it just finishes the look.
Congratulations, and wear it in good health.
