Ultimate Dress Sporrans of the Hair Variety
While taste is a matter of personal preference ( de gustibus and all that), it was expressed by some that hair sporrans were not "refined." One can hold that opinion, certainly (for it is a valid one), but I find them extremely beautiful, and have a valid place in the wardrobes of the best dressed gentlemen.
From my files, here are a few of the nicest ones, showing just how refined and elegant they can look.

I totally agree! Horse hair, goat hair, they all make some great looking sporrans.
I hope Matt doesn't mind me lifting the following photo I think they look quite refined with the right accessories. As evidenced here by one of our resident Highland attire experts.

I would also add these photos as I think your sporran is absolutely wonderful, and very refined.

I also saw the following photos in the vintage thread and think them completely refined

And hey if it's good enough for Her Majestys Highland Servant then what more can I say?

McMurdo,
Is that a photo of Mr. Brown himself? That is an excellent vintage shot of a hair sporran if I have ever seen one.

I love the long ones - at the same time they make me think of ZZ Top.
