    What another sporran

Yes another sporran, this time it's an L&M Sealskin, I just got back from Cairngorm Scottish Imports they just started thier ex rental sale up again and I just had to get this sporran as the price was right, and I have wanted a dress sealskin sporran for a while. If you are looking for quality merchandise at good prices than sales like this one are great, anyway here are the pictures:

    The back

I think this one will see me through many Burns nights, St. Andrews balls etc. but now I have a sealskin and a bovine, ah well perhaps I will use the bovine the next time I go to the United States.

That's a great looking sporran. The only thing that I noticed is that the tassle chains seem to be 3 different lengths. Is this on purpose? All the sporrans I have seen ahve the outter tassles the same length and the middle one a bit longer.

I noticed that as well and I will bring two of them up to match the shortest one.

That shouldn't be too hard eh? I've had to take links out of my sporran chains in order to make them fit and it wasn't too hard. Looks like the same type of links, only smaller. Looks like seal skin too, is it?

Yes it is sealskin, inside it has the small key ring type things. I plan on moving the key ring type rings down a few links to line up the middle and right sides to the same length as the short one on the right.

Just a suggestion..leave the middle one long and shorten the ones on the side. It might be a neat look!! Congrats on the nice sporran!

Here is what I have come up with, after shortening the long tassels to match the short.

How does it compare to your calf skin formal sporran for which it appears identical? Actually perhaps bring them both to the next kilt night so that we can all be Wompet knowledgable.
