Why can't I find a deeply colored, pointed, dress shirt
Help!
I don't know if it is me or what! My Boyd tartan is no subtle tartan, and trying to find some new dress shirts, pointed preferably, seems to have become something of a challenge.
If anyone sees some tasteful dark navy or dark green dress shirts give me a heads up will ya. It would be greatly appreciated. Charcoal? Any other suggestions would be great!

Your mileage my vary, but I have better luck finding a good color selection at Macy's.
It seems like some colors like bold greens and reds are seasonal, I see them more at Christmas time.

JCPenneys might have what you are looking for.. I seen the darker sage shirt, and an almost navy blue shirt.. I, myself, had been looking for a light shade of yellow dress shirt, and possibly a light green.

You might also look at Kohls if you have one in your area.

I'd say anywhere that sells Van Heusen shirts.
And to risk sounding ignorant, what does "pointed" mean?

Thanks guys! Han't thought of Macy's! I gotta be careful what colors I go with as I don't want to look like a christmas tree, and I wear a black jacket. Sage was the color I was thinking of, thanks Peacekeeper.

Macy's has (by far) the best selection of men's dress shirts. It's where I make all my dress shirt purchases.

Out of interest, are we talking about the term "dress" shirt in US terms, or UK terms?

its a shirt one would wear with a tie and suit... not a shirt for black/white tie wear.. So I guess its the US term.
