Wolverine Fur Sporran
Does anybody know where I might find, or have made, a wolverine fur sporran?

at first I was thinking of Kate Macpherson (http://www.katemacphersonsporrans.co.uk/) but a quick look and I don't see Wolverine. But, try Lithgoe Sorrans (http://lythgoesporrans.webs.com/dresssporrans.htm). They too have some "exotic" fur sporrans. And there is one other place but I can't find where I hid the bookmark.

Wow! I was going to mention possibly sourcing the fur yourself and sending to a sporran maker.
Moscow Hide and Fur has a few they range from 200.00 to 265.00 for their regular skins. Perhaps the prices will drop once the furs come into the market from the trappers out there.
Beautiful fur choice IMO.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

You might talk to these folks. They seem to be able to lay hands on any sort of N. American fur!

I know that Lamar Britt, of Ferguson Britt, has talked about wanting an excuse to make a sporran in wolverine. You might contact the Scottish Tartans Museum and see if they can hook you up.
