"According To Jim" on ABC
No NOT me... the television show.
They've been promoting the next edisode when Belushi wears a kilt... or as they say "A man in a skirt".
If you get the chance, tune-in and see all the crud that they dump our way as to the look, how to sit, etc.
I'm sure we'll take a bashing. EVeryone that gets the chance, please report!

I saw the previews Jimmy. I'm sure it'll be complete rubbish as usual. I don't know that I'll be watching it.

"The Mustache"
A hot delivery girl gives Jim some fashion advice, prompting him to grow a mustache, which Cheryl hates. Cheryl retaliates by becoming a brunette - but Jim loves it. After a chance meeting with the girl, Cheryl asks her to give Jim suggestions that will make him look ridiculous.
Not a good sign.

Ain't that the truth! How desperate for programming is ABC that they let total drivel like this stupid show continue for multiple seasons?
I'm sure it'll be an enlightening episode for all involved. :x I'm sure they got the idea from that comic genius, Kelly Rippa, herself.

I am watching the show now. Yes, they did poke fun of the kilt. Atleast, Jim said "This is what Scottish men wear when they want to kick a**." He said this before he started calling it a dress once he realized his wife "tricked" him into wearing it. The wife agreed it was a dress. Of course they did the whole bit about what is worn underneath. He wore a pipers hair sporran, and kilt appreared to be a tad bit too short. If he had not worn the piper's sporran, he would have looked real good in it. In the end though, the wife asked Jim to wear the kilt just a little bit longer, as they want up to the bed room.

I guess that this is boiling down to whether it is good publicity or not. Does bad publicity even give kilt wearing good PR? In my opinion if it is on television, and used for comedy, it probably isn't good publicity.

Well, just watched it and was extremely disappointed! The ONLY reason the kilt was in the episode was so everyone (including an employee who used his cellphone to take "upkilt" pics) could ridicule him. Except for the very end where the wife tells him not to take of the kilt "just yet..."
Considering the usual level of writing on this show, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

Rufus, American TV caters to the beer swilling brain dead segment of society. As has been said about the entertainment industry, you can't go wrong underestimating the publics intelligence.

I'm not sure how we noticed this, but there were some flashes of boxer shorts when he was sitting on the sofa. Honestly, it was lame. It's unfortunate use of the kilt. The redeeming remark at the end just made the kilt seem like a bedroom gimmick. All in all, a waste of the 10 minutes of the show that I watched.
