I was perusing bestbuy.com and found this movie Heroes of Scotland: Rob Roy and was wondering if anyone had seen it and is it worth buying?

havent heard of it...very curious though
They also have a three disk set called "heros of Scotland" that add William Wallace and Robert the Bruce to the set for $49.
If it is anything like the film with Liam Neeson, I'd recommend it!
By a strange coincidence I just checked that out of my local library the other day. I'll let you know what I think when I get a chance to watch it. Shane
Are those available at the stores or on on-line only?
Yeah!!! Inquiring minds want to know!!!

Not to be a wet blanket but these look very much like warmed over TV documentaries that were hauled out and repackaged to cash in on the success of Braveheart and the Rob Roy movie. Just the length - 50 minutes - sounds like made-for-tv fare. We've probably seen these on PBS or the History Channel already. I dunno about $14.95 a pop for something like that...maybe $14.95 for all three... Best AA
Well I just finished watching the VHS copy that I checked out of the library. It's really not worth $14.95. You could easily learn as much about Rob Roy in a 5 minute online search. The scenery isn't all that stunning and many of the "recreations" are just excerpts from an old black and white film about Rob Roy. Just my two cents. Shane
