Thanks for posting.
I always think Prince Charles's kilt-wearing is most impressive.
Some of the others will doubtless attract more "mixed" comments!

I suppose it all depends on which picture one is looking at and who is looking at it.

The question posed at the end of the photo line-up caught me off guard. "Do you think the kilt will ever catch on in the US?" Has the BBC (or the person that started the blog/whatever) never visited this site?

Well, at least HRH, The Prince Charles, looks good and makes up for the rest!

That last pic (Rory McCann) lead me to the thought: that's a lot of tartan. He looked like he was having a fine time, though.

Some interesting threads there.
But Sam Heughan’s kilt looks more like a skirt (perhaps there are pleats at the back, but I’m not too sure of that).
I don’t mind Craig Ferguson’s patriotic T-shirt, but I do think his kilt looks a lot better.
David Tennant wears his kilt well, but I’m not too sure of his choice of footwear . . .
Ewan MacGregor has a braw fine kilt, but I wonder why he’s hiding it in a back alley.
HRH always wears the kilt well, and Patrick Stewart is not too shabby, either.
Sir Sean Connery demonstrates how a gentleman wears a kilt when seated (un-ladylike, but then he’s no lady!).
Alan Cumming looks as if he is trying to show off his crown jewels.
I wonder whether Sir Richard Branson has registered that Little Red tartan. If it’s not a uniform for the crew, it might be quite popular as a fashion tartan.
And I’m not too sure about Rory McCann’s all-Black Watch outfit, even if one of our members did much the same thing for a party not too long ago . . .

Richard Branson has his kilt on right-side-forward!!!!
Last picture I saw of him kilted, he had the pleats in front!

Sir Richard at least reads and listens to people when advice is offered. If he heard that his kilt was offensive or improperly worn, he would change that or make sure everyone knew of his humorous act, if that was intended.
Mr. Connery may not be able to sit "lady like" any further due to his years of getting damaged in the joints for his action movies. I still can't get my "starry-eyed wife" to accept his age.
