    Doctor Who

In Season 5 Episode 1 of Doctor Who (The Tomb of the Cybermen), the Doctor's companion, Jamie McCrimmon, is kilted throughout the episode. This was made in 1967.

As far as I'm aware, from what I remember of Jamie McCrimmon, pretty sure he wore his kilt in pretty much every episode he was in- and as the Dr's companion, that was a few.

    Was always my favourite.

The few episodes I saw with Jamie had him kilted.

I will add, though, that my favourite Scottish companion was Amy Pond...

Jamie was in it from 1966 to 1969 and made return appearances in 1983 and 1985. The show was a formative influence on me, being born in 1962.
Jamie's outfit has aged better than the cardboard and tinfoil monsters. Happily the new series has a bigger budget.

He was a perfect foil to Patrick Troughton's Doctor.companion-outfits-jamie-mind-robber.jpg

I was still involved with the black and white reruns of "Flash Gordon" in 1967, and the fact that we couldn't get Dr. Who until 1970 in North Carolina, I missed all the old episodes. I remember the girls were so "Twiggy" thin so long ago.

I saw a couple episodes in the 1960s. Black and white, on a neighbour's TV. Then my daughter got Netflix and I watched the Matt Smith episodes with her. Then last night I decided to go back to the beginning and watch what I had missed. The episode I referenced was the earliest one I could find. Seasons 1-4 do not appear to have survived.

And of course, your new Dr, Who is indisputably Scottish…as in "That’s good. Oooooh. OOOOoh. Scooottish. I’m Scottish! I am Scottish. I can complain about things!".
