    Downton Abbey

The TV series is going to Scotland for Christmas. It was filmed at Inverary Castle. A newspaper promotion photo shows the gentry in rather disappointing "plus-fours"; let's hope there is a better showing of kilts in the show when it appears.

    To Paulhenry

I have no picture, it was in the Daily Mail last week. I have not followed the story, it is something I do not normally watch.

Yes, I got it, thank you. BBC costume dramas are really good, but I would only watch this one to see the scenery and the clothes. I was there this year on holiday; that is Loch Fyne behind me in my avatar.

What a disappointing picture. I would have thought the BBC would have done better with their costumes; so matchy-matchy.

    The Marquess of Flintshire. ?

The Welsh are used to having Scottish titles as landowners in Wales such as the Marquess of Bute but not the other way around!

    Revenge is sweet!

Is this in Season 3 or 4? In the U.S. we are just now to get season 3 beginning January 6, 2013.

It's neither as it's a Christmas special. Which is seasonal but not part of a season.

We have recently finished Season 3 being shown over here.
