    Duncan's kilt

    First off....watch the videos.

The Highland Athletes community has come together, bigtime to support Duncan's quest to do the March of Dimes "Walk for Babies". Duncan's daddy, Tom, is an athlete in Georgia.

Here are the North Texas Heavies telling Duncan what they think about him and his campaign.

We all think that Duncan is a Champion...the kind of Champion that I can get behind.... so it is, that I'm making a kilt for Duncan, in the Wallace tartan. He'll have it in time for his walk, on April 12th.

OH, yeah. OOoohhhh, yeah, I'm looking forward to stitching up this one.

I am always amazed when such a large heart can be found in such a small package. That boy is at least seven feet tall. Good luck, Duncan. And thanks, Alan, for making all of us aware of this giant among men.

Homeric! This young man is an inspiration, and he will look like a prince in his new kilt.

The tartan I was bidding on got snatched out from under me, so I put in a bid on some stuff advertised as "1 1/2 yards of wool blend"...HA! This stuff is full-on wool tartan, probably about 11 ounce. I will post a picture of the tartan later and see if anybody can identify it. I would love to have a kilt out of this stuff. Mister Duncan is getting a NICE kilt. I'm pleating it to stripe....all 9 pleats!
