I just got done listening to an Episode of Rick Steves' radio travel show about traveling to Edinburgh. One of the featured guides is a regular kiltwearer and Rick Steves talked about being outfitted with a kilt for one of his video presentations. I hope you don't mind if I blow my own horn briefly. I called in during the taping of the show last January and talked about wearing a kilt while visiting Edinburgh. I mentioned the "only American tourists wear kilts" comments and asked the guides their opinion of tourists wearing the kilt. I was very pleased at the positive encouragement I got and even more pleased when my call was retained for the broadcast. It's a very strange phenomenon to hear a voice on the radio and know that it's your own voice. I am, unfortunately, not computer savy enough to link to the program but I believe they are available some where on www.ricksteves.com Jamie

Freaking cool!
I like the part when they were teaching him how to pronounce Edinburgh... "If I went to the US, I would say Pittsburrah"
