A few kilts in Perth
Those who are in the UK or know how to change their IPs to fool the BBC might like to watch Nicholas Crane covering the town of Perth and its bid to regain city status.
There are some kilts (pipe band mainly) early on around the 9 minute mark and there is a street shot which has a kilt maker sign in the top right hand corner - someone might know who this is.
The whole programme is fascinating with some wonderful aerial shots and historical information.
One thing that saddens me is that there is a plot to demolish the City Hall which is apparently no longer used, to create a an open space. I have some happy memories of it back in the 1970s and it has a beautiful frontage, in my view this would be a criminal act of vandalism.
