"Highland Heritage" tartan at Brooks Brothers + kilt in web ad
Brooks Brothers has a new web landing page featuring their "Highland Heritage" line, including their own tartan.
They also have an online magazine, 1818, that uses a kilted man as the start image.

Not necessarily promoting the goods, but nice to see a positive portrayal of tartan and kilts in fashion.

They have a few more ads, including this one that went out a month(ish) ago.

Odd that they don't highlight their tartan with a picture of a kilt made from it.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Agree there, but they don't really sell kilts so they are showing things they sell. But still, a kilt in the BB tartan would be the thing to do if you are going to highlight your new tartan.

Paul Stuart also feature a kilted piper in their fall/winter catalogue, as well as shots of the Royal Scotsman train. I can't afford their goods, either...
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife

Well, if they don't sell kilts and if they put one in their catalog, especially in their own tartan, you can imagine the confusion that would cause.

They added a "Highland Dress" department in the Manhattan store in 2012.

I was just at one of their stores and saw the 1818 magazine with the kilted model on the cover. They had a tartan designed to include their signature "BB1" stripe . It's actually pretty cool. I might make a trip into NYC to check out the highland dress area, if it's still there.
