Yes indeed. I cycled through there the year before last on the way in to a couple of remote Munros.

Great pics, I particularly enjoyed seeing the off road footwear of the gentleman on the right.

Wouldn't you love to know what's so funny in this one? It appears HRH may be pointing at something on the path.

Macpherson of Attadale inherited this super old stalking estate from his father. Joanna Macpherson has been the guiding light in its restoration and development -- she of the 'jacket'. Despite a devastating storm that blew down many trees a few years ago, the gardens recovered and, in place of the lost trees, a wonderful Japanese garden was constructed that has survived more recent Atlantic blasts. In designing that garden, Joanna visited Vancouver's Nitobe Garden, Portland's Japanese Garden and two gardens in Japan. If you are ever in the West of the Highlands, don't miss these gardens! And pay particular attention to the stunning statuary: the almost-hidden wild boar, the leaping leopard and the site-built slate urn.
If you love private Scottish gardens, you must also visit the Ogilvie gardens at Pitmuies in Angus.

I'd add to this that a bit further up north, the Inverewe gardens are absolutely worth a visit. The Mackenzie family has constructed a wonderfully sheltered place on the banks of Loch Ewe. It is now managed by the National Trust. Inverewe House in the gardens also has a fascinating look at the family history. If you're ever there, don't miss it!

Very nice!
I am curious, as a Yank, to what decorations HRH is wearing on his jacket lapel.

Peter , beautiful pics and thanks for sharing the link .
Out of curiosity , a couple of questions .
What is the tartan Prince Charles is wearing ? I remember reading something about it a while back and that he had it specially woven ( if part of my memory serves me correctly ) , however , I just don't remember the name of the tartan .
Secondly , do you happen to know what clan crest he is wearing as a kilt pin ? ( or perhaps it's not a clan crest , just curious )
Thanks , Mike
