I attended the Capital District Games in N.Y. this past weekend where I helped man the Buchanan Clan Tent. (I'm commissioner in New England so I was a guest of the NY regent) On Saturday I was approached by a crew from BBC Radio for an interview. The show is about family histories and they are over here doing a series on Scots in America. They wanted to know how my family came to be here from Scotland. But we spent most of the time talking about highland games in general and what they mean to people in the US of Scottish ancestry. The discussion of course touched upon the wearing of the kilt: where, how often, etc. Luckily I wear mine quite often in various settings so was able to say more than just at highland games. I'm no expert on the subject and could only give my opinion but I think I did OK. It will air in the UK in January or February. They are going to email me and let me know when.

Try and record the spot if you can. It'll be fun to listen to in years to come.
