I was flipping through the channels, and I think the guy who plays Vince is cute, so I watched Judging Amy on TNT for a bit- the episode on right now is: Kilt Trip TV-PG Second thoughts about marriage cause chaos in Amy's job and personal life; the groomsmen become disgruntled when they learn Stu wants them to wear kilts to the wedding. I'm actually sort of debating watching it and letting you know what happens- if they're laundry to fold in the dryer I will...
My wife used to watch that show and I saw that episode because the kilts caught my eye when I was doing something else. I didn't think they treated the kilt with much respect.

Well, so far everyone but the groom is against it, but the groomsmen (who are all being rented vry proper attire as far as I can see) finally agreed to wear it "If Amy wants us to." Which she doesn't. (Also, there was a very funny scene involving the prospective mother-in-law toasting her son's marriage to a divorcee as "To Stewart's first marriage. Oh dear, that came out wrong.") At least, the groom is giving out a lot of information and being quite tolerant of people's comments, even if everyone else is treating it as a joke.
I just saw the episode. (I have my TiVo set to record anything with "kilt" as a keyword). The guys all looked great in the kilt outfits. That's the only good news. Hopefully the television audience saw past the joking and noticed how handsome and masculine the guys looked.

Old thread, but my tivo just caught this one last week (have it set up to do keyword searches for "kilt"). Haven't watched yet, but by the responses here, I'm not sure I want to.
