just seen a $1300 kilt on TV

was watchin men tv. m-style was the show.
some chick was doing a makeover on a guy.
talking about "plaids" and " family plaids"
then said kilts are not cheap, a good one will cost $1300, or a cheaper one will cost $1000.
where the FV@K are they getting the kilts from?
the most I ever seen anyone pay for a kilt was
    $700 cdn ($590 usd- 519 uk)
anyone here ever buy a kilt for $1300?

    Hi Phil,

I have not paid that much for a kilt on it's own, but I have paid almost that figure for a three-piece kilt suit!

Certainly, I have seen kilts listed at that sort of price in the past in some kiltmakers' catalogues (Vicuna tartan fabric perhaps!!!!).

Then there is the new "K2" kilts range from our sponsor KiltStore.net, where one-off hand-printed to order denim kilts are priced at around £1,000 ($US 1,858.00)!

that s really exagereted in my still limited universe. what kind of kilt would pay the price more than a tailred worsted kilt?

i think for the work and hours spent on a tank the prices are ok, regarded also the fact that it was not made by exploited workers in the third world..

The fashion world just want to keep men from discovering the comfort of kilts by spreading untrue rumours.

How else can 'The Man' keeps the rest of the world from even thinking about getting kilts?
