    Kilt Walk in Mississippi

This past Saturday was our 3rd Annual Kilt Walk and Fun Run for Brain Tumor Awareness. It's an event I put together to bring awareness to something that my amazing wife has to deal with. Here is the story that was done by the local TV station that I work for...

My wife got me into kilts a few years back and we thought this would be a fun way to bring awareness. She is the one interviewed in the piece.

And just to be clear... this event is over and we are not raising money at this time. (I don't want to get in trouble. I respect the rules of the forum.)

Thanks again Bill for another year (and excuse to be kilted) of promoting a much needed cause. I will assist all I can in the my way (as volunteer first aid) and hope for twice as many participants next year. Besides the "canned" music (Scottish tunes of all kinds) Eric (the live piper) is always inspirational to motivate the crowd. Good job my friend.

I am so glad to see something like this happening. Four years ago my wonderful wife lost her vision to brain tumor but, she is a tough fighter and she is still with us and healthy as can be. Could you let me in on what went into organizing this. I would love to try to get something of this nature started here in eastern North Carolina.

    Thanks,
    Stoff
