Kilted in the new June 2013 National Geographic

A two page spread (pages 14-15) showing a great picture of Gregor Edmunds throwing a shafted hammer at the Cowal Highlands Gathering in Dunoon. My scanner is down, so I can't show it off here.

That's the one! Good show mate! I'm too technically challenged...

On the bright side, got a guy in looking at the scanner right now. He is NOT technically challenged!

What I would not give to visit Scotland at any time. Retirement is in early 2016, so probably not in my lifetime. Drat!

It's just that time is running short for having extra cash for travel. Heck, even working I can't afford it. I doubt I'll make it once retired. My heart is in the right place if nothin else!

    Thanks,

I do expect to get to Cape Breton again. It is not Scotland, but as close to it as I expect to get. I bought my first Campbell tartan tie (a Lochcarron) on the Cape those many years ago, and still have it. We expect to buy a small fiberglass trailer (like a Scamp) and travel the continent in retirement.

Frank, I am a Boler and Bigfoot owner. If you don't already know about it http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/ is a great place to gather information about fiberglass trailers. Nice group of folks, just like here.
