Kilts out at Trafalgar Square for Scotland versus England

The focus isn't exactly on the kilts, but the sheer number of Scots kilted in one place is impressive.

Great photos, glad you posted it. Too bad Scotland lost but looks like everyone had a good time.

Ah yes, the Tartan Army on manoeuvres. They are dressed in the TATA(Tartan Army Traditional Attire) mode of National dress and in the last twenty years or so they have become a happy(usually) force to be reckoned with. Without wishing to open a recently buried can of worms, one can only wonder(it is a reasonable thought, I feel) at their reply if they were told that the kilt was no longer the National attire of Scotland!

Looks to me to be the sports-fan attire for an athletic team; I doubt they check the nationality of fans and supporters. Go Scotland!!! (sorry they lost ).

I had hoped that any hornets that might be lurking in the last nest to be kicked over were concentrating on repair work!

My, hopeful, intention is to give some gentle food for thought to those that may unthinkingly stumble into another one. I do grant you that giving, even friendly advice, does have its risks----------particularly where hornets are concerned!
