Kilts in Web Comics
This showed up in the Sheldon Comic yesterday. It started this story arc two days ago, I included the links for all three days.

This comic is usually pretty cool on making fun of memes so it will be interesting to find out where this is going.
The author owns Pugs and loves to satire them.

Good one Hawk; it looks like the comic Ken kit includes beards. This is great since Kyle is (or at least was, haven't seen it yet) growing a beard.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. With a Jacobite shirt and wearing his sporran off to the side? That doesn't resemble Kyle at all

They show up in a lot of comics (NSFW) Go Get a Roomie, occationally in (NSFW) Least I Could Do, and several others at random times.
The big thing is a lot of webcomic artists spend time at conventions and there is almost always a kilted element at these events. Which is a good thing.
