    Michael meets Cameron of Lochiel

Did anyone catch this episode last night? - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...to_Glenfinnan/ . Apart from the stunning scenery Michael Portillo has a meeting with Cameron of Lochiel.

Thanks Phil, I have missed all these. Yes the journey from Glasgow to Mallaig is reputed to be one of the finest train journeys in the world. Fast? No! Comfortable? Humm. History? Lots of it. Fantastic scenery? Oh yes!

I am a lucky chap, to see it almost every day!

I have just looked at and enjoyed three of the programs, basically from Glasgow, via Oban to Glenfinnan. Yes folks, the West Highlands are just like the program shows-----apart from not showing the rain, wind, mist and midges! From what I could see and I might have missed a couple, there was only one kilt on show, Lochiel's. Nothing new there then!

Is YouTube a thought? I have no doubt that these programs will cross the Atlantic in due course. Take a tip, don't miss them!

That's what I was thinking too, Jock. I'll be sure to check YouTube in due course.
