Hamish this is what I heard too as I've mentioned earlier.
What a year of shattered dreams, MOTG without Hamish and the death of Superman.
Great piccie, sums up how I feel exactly!!
Hamish, I couldn't resist stealing the image and using it here......

Great Picture Hamish,
You poor man Graham It's allways a shock to lose something you like.Still MOTG now has Tom Baker..I know it's not the same...
Ps. I hope Molly , Golly, Lexie and, Paul are still in it. And has Killwillie come back yet.....
We have got to the episode where Paul discovers the kilt in the trunk which belonged to his Greatgrand father how was killed in S.Africa.Lexie wants to step down as Laird so it's left with Paul might take over Glenbogle.
I hope Norwegian Broadcasting pick-up the next series.

Hamish, we are still 'stuck' several years back over heare so I have a question. I have only seen through season 4. Is it true that Lex is also gone?
Thanks,
Richard-

Well Richard, I do not want to spoil things for all of you who are still a series of two behind us but, without giving too much away, Lexie did leave (went to New Zealand with Archie) but she is now back at Glenbogle - ostensibly to pack up the rest of their belongings for shipment to New Zealand. However, she has been 'persuaded' to stay in Scotland ..... for the time being!
It is still a good, watchable programme, but it's just not the same without Duncan!

David,
I am afraid that Tom Baker (or his character) has turned the programme into more of a farce - he is totally OTT!
Yes, Molly ('Bless her), Golly, Lexie and Paul are still very much in evidence (although Molly has just had a serious health scare), but there is no sign of the wonderful Killwillie at all!
I missed last night's episode, and forgot to set the VCR, so I'll have to wait until next Sunday to catch up!

Thanks for the update. This last friday the local PBS station started showing Monarch again from season 1. I talked to them and they have rights to broadcast through season 4. I'm hoping that by the time they reach the end of season 4 they will have rights to 5. I don't think season 6 will be seen until a few years down the line but there is always hope.

I agree, Duncan is my hero, the show is dead without him, who else will wear a kilt?
