NEGATIVE Washington Post Story
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...072702090.html
Unfortunately, this story has an IDIOT wearing a kilt and wouldn't have made headlines if it WEREN'T for the fact that he was wearing a kilt. There's a 15 second commercial before the story appears.

One bad apple
Spoils the barrel. At least in the minds of others who may see someone in a kilt and think we're all lecherous people who rub bellies in public.
What in the h3ll was this person thinking? Hopefully a one Nathan Blair, 24, of Moorhead, Minn is not a part of Xmarks, if so, promptly banned.
Disrespects the kilt!

It is sad how the press emphasise the involvement of a kilt in such incidents. There was an equally depressing report in a Scottish newspaper yesterday regarding a pipe major who had sexually abused one of his fourteen year old male pupils.

Indecent exposure is not depentant upon wearing a kilt. If it were, there'd be a lot less of it.

I heard this story on the local new last night. I was debating whether to post it here and decided not to, because that would be perpetuating a negative perception of the kilt. I agree with Rocky it probably wouldn't have made the national headlines if the fool hadn't been wearing a kilt.

I think that the reason he is in this position is not the kilt but the alcohol, had this fool been wearing pants they would have found them around his ankles.
That said, unfortunately the media is going to sieze anything that sets this drunk apart from all the others that they see and this time the difference was that he was wearing a kilt.

"While investigating the incident, a friend of the couple directed police to the backyard of the home, Claus said."
I don't imagine him being a friend any longer...
