I just got back from watching the movie "Open Season." I must say it's very funny and I enjoyed the part with the squirrels. They have Scottish accents and the lead squirrel even has cheek fur resembling white mutton chops! I hope this doesn't spoil the movie for anyone but the end was very funny. A bever chopped down a pine tree (the squirrels think they own all the trees) and the lead squirrel ran after the bever saying, "Lay off my trees you buck-toothed sporran!" I just had to share that!
That was I wonder how many movie-goers even knew what a sporran was
The squirrel McSquizzy is voiced by Billy Connolly. My wife and daughter and I saw it in the theater when it first came out. We thought the same thing about how many people got the sporran thing. Of course I was wearing one as I was kilted, and my 7 yr old daughter still calls people 'buck toothed sporran'!

I haven't seen a listing for the movie, but will definitly make an effort to see it! Thanks for the review.
Also did anyone catch the Braveheart reference? "Freedom!"
I definately want to see this one as well. (I actually wore a Boog costume for some product promotion work over a year ago, so I have a somewhat vested interest in this one as well.) Edit 1/2/2006: I went and saw it over the weekend. It's funny.
