    Rod Stewart kilted in France

British singer Rod Stewart wears a kilt as he arrives with his girlfriend Penny Lancaster for the amfAR Cinema against AIDS 2004 event at the Moulin de Mougins restaurant near Cannes, May 20, 2004.

Nice to see Rod in a kilt, though, in my humble opinion, I think he has the kilt just an inch or so too long. What do you think?

    Hi Martin,
I think it's difficult to tell from the camera angle.

I do think that his Ghille shoes are tied rather sloppily. They havn't got the six twists, which I prefer before going around the leg and tying at the side.I think that gives a much tidier effect. If you look close enough they are both tied differently.
    What a mess.

Mind you. I wouldn't mind looking a mess with Penny Lancaster on my arm (Don't tell the wife I said that )

    Hi Martin,

(Long time no speak. Where've you been mate?)

I agree. It's hard to say from the angle of the photo, but either the kilts too long or the socks. What skinny legs he's got, unless it's the white hose that makes them look that way.

Still, nice to see. I kinda like the open neck shirt with the Prince Charlie.

Hi Martin, thanks for the piccie, great to see Rod in a kilt, even if it is for a "special occasion".

I think it's a bit long, should show a bit of knee.
It looks like stewart hunting, a tartan I have just ordered.

I got a photo from an English mag, shows him liftin up the front of his kilt, he's not a real scot.
and al "skinny legs he's got, unless it's the white hose that makes them look that way". you should see his thighs, looks like he's been workin out to me, even my wife commented on them.

I think his legs are skinny too, but as we say - ANY legs are better in a kilt!

After looking at the picture several times I did finally notice Rod Stewart's skinny legs kilted, but after just looking at the right side of the picture I would say by and large he does look pretty good kilted even with his lacing all messed up but who is noticing, because of what is on his arm?
