Has anyone else seen "A Shot at Glory" with Robert Duvall and former Rangers player Ally McCoist? I finally found a copy last night & just finished watching it -- it's a cross between "Bend it like Beckham" and "Mystery Alaska", and well worth the price of admission. Yes, it does take some liberties in regards to the game, but it's still fun. The underdog team, Killnockie FC, has their own piper who plays on a number of occasions in a kilt, and at the final match with Rangers, he is dressed head-to-toe in a maroon day jacket with a maroon kilt (maroon and light blue are the team's colours!) Pipe music & pipers are heard & seen throughout the movie, and their are a couple of kilts at a ceilidh scene and at a funeral on the fitba' pitch. It's a fun wee film, and the soundtrack is great! Cheers, Todd It was an pretty decent show. Of course if you are looking for a good football flick (sorry no kilts) check out Mean Machine. It's a Uk version of the longest yard. Very funny with alot of familiar faces for those Guy Ritchie and Matthew Vaughn fans.
I read a little blurb in the paper the other day. It didn't say anything about a piper let alone a kilt. Of course space constraints may have prevented that.
