A Tartan fit for a President!
Former president Barrack Obama was presented a kilt and trews in a tartan designed for him!
Unfortunately he says "he doesn't have the legs" to wear the kilt, but we can hope

The colouring is reminiscent of our own XMarks tartan, or even more so of Clergy. Maybe we could sign him up!

I expect with the Rising of 45 the next presidential tartan will be a dramatic gold on gold in the manner of the black on black tartans, it will glister like the sun.

...or he would just wear a Macloud tartan as that is his moms name. She spoke Gailic and was from Isle of Lewis.

Poor wee man !!!
I was all for it, right up until he said "I might wear them" in reference to the Trews. It might have been better if he had said a polite thank you and SHUT HIS GUB.

His next gift should be a pair of thick, hand-knit kilt hose. I, too, have very skinny calves and thick kilt hose make my legs look about average.
