The FX Crew of the TV show "Jericho":
Tom Seymour, Charles Cooley,
J.D. Streett and Bob Ahmanson
These guys are the special effects crew for the CBS tv show, "Jericho". The show is about the people in a small Kansas town who have been suddenly left without public services or connection to the outside work due to some sort of nuclear event. (Accident? Attack? Nobody knows! Yet...)
These guys wear their kilts for their daily job. Tom tells us what the "daily job" is for someone in his position:
"We are all currently working full-time on "Jericho". As far as what kind of FX we do, there is a lot of smoke and fog. But we have done some fires, car crashes, gunfights, rain and dust storms and a couple explosions.
The kilts are super comfortable on hot days, and the pockets are great for tools, water bottles, etc.
Plus everyone else on the crew gets a big kick out of watching the kilted FX crew go about their work.
Oh yeah, the UK is a big hit amongst the female contingent of our show!"
Now I'm starting to wonder... is wearing a kilt every day and being generally handy with tools enough to get ME a job with these guys?!? What a blast! ;-)
