You Just Don't Disrespect a Piper
This is sad, we need to stop piper on piper crime:

Piper punched and kicked to death
A piper killed a fellow band member in an attack after criticising his playing during a competition.
Keith Drysdale, 38, punched, kicked and hurled a chair at James Mearing during a band practice in the Pipe Room at Redford Barracks, Edinburgh, last May.
Mr Mearing, 51, died in hospital three days later from a brain haemorrhage.
Drysdale, of Parkhead Loan, Edinburgh, was originally charged with murder, but the Crown accepted his guilty plea to a reduced charge of culpable homicide.

I'm terribly sorry but I find the phrase "Piper on piper crime" as flip and quite disturbing. The issue here is the fact that idiots in society have no control and no discipline. The fact western society teaches people that winning is everything is very disgusting. The perpetrator should be charged and sentenced to the fullest!

Two kilted pipers got in a fight over piping, this has probably happened a few hundred times in Scottish history. What's sad is that one guy wound up dying from a blow to the head, this is also something that has probably happened dozens of times throughout Scottish history.
It's senseless and dumb, but I don't see it as a tragedy. Other than their piping, there's nothing special about this story. Sorry if I offended, but you're right, I'm not too upset about it. I do think we need to use these types of incidents as a wakeup, and not be so dumb.

Generally, if someone dies, it's a tragedy.

I thought I had heard just about everything, but this story shows just how capable we are of being incredibly stupid. The perp should not see the light of day again. After reading the entire story and learning the deceased had heart and blood pressure problems, the idiot who did this should be put away forever.

It also shows a major problem in our society. People don't know how to take constructive criticism. Too many people assume that they are always right and everyone else is wrong. People's skins are far to thin these days. And with so much of popular culture celebrating violence as a way to resolve disputes it seems like fools don't understand that it simply is not acceptable under any circumstances to react violently to another human being.
Shame on that piper for taking another man's life over something as simple as constructive criticism. Too bad they didn't go ahead with the murder charge.

Not my society baby. Uh uhh. I quit a long time ago. No matter how one looks at it violence is deplorable. It did solve who won the arguement and that's all. That doesn't make it right, just a fact. I had an evil thought about two pipers exchanging well you can guess.
