I may have to try this out. It's not in my area, so I would have to order it. I don't know how much I would use it though. If I want bacon flavor, I'll use a little bacon, since I'm not a vegetarian*.

*Note that I do eat meat, but not a lot of it. I still like my occasional cheeseburger, but most of the time I just don't really have a taste for much meat. I'm kind of like Thomas Jefferson, who used meat to flavor his vegetables, and bragged that he could make a pound of meat last two weeks.

Am going to try it out. Bacon is a 'no-no' for me except on rare occasions (cholesterol). And that 'Soy' bacon just doesn't cut it. Maybe this will help.

Mmmmm! Bacon salt on a Kilt.....PERFECTION!

Huh? Did I just say that out loud???

LIke Stan I can not have bacon and I wonder what the sodium content is as that is a no-no for me also.

Another Seattle innovation. Maybe it can add some flavor to UKs. A unique stocking stuffer to be certain.

Now that is truly a great idea. I keep a jar of bacon grease in the refrigerator to cook and/or season with but that would be a whole lot healthier. I wouldn't call it the SECOND greatest innovation though, IMHO that honour goes to seasonshot

Keep up the good work guys, my stocking stuffer list is expanding at an alarming rate.

I'm sitting at my desk looking at a small container of steel cut oats and thought of haggis flavored seasonshot, complete with oats and seasoning. haggis hunting season is about to start.

Having had the experience in my life of biting down on a piece of shot left in a bird, seasonshot sounds great to me. But seeing as how I can't hunt, I think the Baconsalt would rank higher on my list. But here's a thought for those who hunt- seasonshot made from the baconsalt!
