edit: I just noticed you were in the UK. Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most well know of the Prairie Style architects here in the US. She may or may not have heard of him there.

Actually, there is an office designed by Frank Lloyd Wright on display in the Victoria and Albert Museum along with several individual pieces. http://www.buffaloah.com/a/archs/wright/va/
