An amazing day!

Got to go to the Pittsburgh Comicon this weekend with some friends. Wore the UTKilts Deluxe and was very comfortable. We walked around, saw the sights, and I got Stan Lee's autograph! We thought all of the autograph tickets were sold out but they added a few more and announced it at his Q&A panel. As soon as the panel let out I raced across the convention and bought mine. Then I stood in line and had my VERY patient and kind friend Eric go buy me a copy of Amazing Spider-Man 51 for me to get signed. He really came through for me. I had some things to get signed but what he found for me was way better because Lee actually wrote the story for it. Then I sent it off to be sealed and certified to protect it from my sweating fan-boy hands. I was walking on air after that. Even met another kiltie in the autograph line and told him about this site! My wife says kilties seem to be in some secret club because they all act like they know each other even if they've never met before. She's right about that. Then I got my picture taken with a stormtrooper and my day was made yet again. Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) was supposed to be there as well but he canceled for another gig. Ah well, I had a great time anyway.

On the way home we stopped off at an amazing little Mexican restaurant and had fantastic meal. This day was more fun than I have had in a while.

Somehow I messed this event.
Strangely enough, wife wife is more into comics than i am (she used to work for Comico back when it was good 20-some years ago.) We'll have to try to make it our there next year.
