Americans finally locate the lost lands of New Zealand
The secret is out, it seems that they have finally discovered our wee country.
that a team of commandos from New Zealand had joined Afghan soldiers at the scene caused a sensation in the little country off the coast of Australia.

Off the coast of Australia...
1930Kms (1200 miles), is not off the coast.
And I think you will find that Australia is just off the west coast of New Zealand.

Do I not remember something about your golf courses per capita index as well? A friend of mine who has the same problem with golf that Tiger Woods has with women has always been dying to go down there and shoot a few rounds.

With a total of 400 golf clubs, New Zealand has one club for every 10000 people
that would be clubs, not including the others scattered far and wide in off the track places...

Phil - you might not have known about it back home, but here in the USof A I've known for over two years that troops of the SAS Squadron were over there.

Common knowledge here to anyone who reads the paper, or watches the news, or are ex services, it seems the ones who get upset are the ones that are not educated or worldy enough.
Problem is they identified Willie Apiata (VC) in the picture...so he maybe forced to leave now, Dominion and Herald plastered his pic all over front page...very bad form.

Nah, I'm not jealous, it sounds just like the Scottish Borders, 10 to 1 here too, population 1 million sheep, 100,000 humans.
