Another sad note ...

As some of you will already know, we lost one of our dogs back in February. Our other one 'Dolly' became unwell soon after due to grieving. We did everything we could for her to try and help her with the loss of her sister .. they were never seperated in 12yrs. Unfortunately she had a stroke the early hours of yesterday morning and passed away in our arms. I can hardly write this cos I'm so upset, but I just wanted u guys to know. The house seems so quiet and empty.
Heres a pic of Elaine and Dolly only the end of last week.

I'm very sorry to hear that you've lost such a dear friend Derek. All the worse to loose two and so near to each other in time. My earnest condolences to you and Elaine.

So sorry to hear this. In the last three months I've lost two cats due to disease. One was 18 years old and had a tumor and the other was 15 years old with kidney failure. I still have my 9 year old dog with me but I don't know what I'll do when she is gone. I know about the empty house syndrome and my dog still looks around for the cats sometimes. Sorry for your losses.

My condolences, Derek. Someone on this forum told me this when My Nikita, died last July. "There is no better way for a loving dog to pass than in the arms of the people she loved. You were there for her at the end." Your Dolly and my Nikita are waiting together for us at "The Bridge"

Derek, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful dog and will be missed. I wish there were words I could say to help you and Elaine, but there are none. She loved you more than humans can love and she knew you loved her. Take care my friend.
