    Any US East Coast Campers?

    I'm running away with my dog.

    Yep, the first weekend of October, I'm packing up the tent, the sleeping bags, and a bunch of Alpo and hitting the open road.

    Where to? Dunno yet.

    I live near Philly. Anyone have a recommended place within five hours that allows pets of the rather large variety? She's 75 lbs, but well-behaved.

    There are many campgounds and state parks here in the lovely Catskills, and that's very close to peak fall foliage time. If you're interested in heading this way, I can dig up some links for you.
