Anyone willing to share paranormal experiences?
Disclaimer: I'm not looking for a debate on the existence or nonexistence of spirits, ghosts, faeries, grogoch, pixies, elementals, demons, goblins, elves, trolls, angels, gnomes, changelings, leprechauns, Crom Dubh or other critters, astral or otherwise.
I am, however, fascinated by the paranormal. I was wondering if anyone else would be willing to post any experiences or stories about things seen that seem to defy logical explanation.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

I had an encounter with a pair of normal pants that defies logical explanation.

Well, here goes.
A long time ago, when I was about sixteen, I was out riding my bike. It was just before lunch, and it was a pleasant fall day. The sky was overcast, but it wasn't raining.
As I pedaled along, I mostly had my head down, as I was pedaling hard. At a random interval I looked up, and saw a cross in the sky. Now, I already said the sky was overcast, and that hadn't changed. It was just made out of "cloud" or mist, and was just below the layer of overcast clouds. Now, I have to point out this was not a vague shape. This was specifically clear and sharp. Actually it looked liked someone had done some sort of precision sky-writing. That's what I presumed it was. "Oh, neat" I thought. "Someone has drew a cross in the sky with a sky-writing airplane. That's appropriate I guess, since it's Sunday. Oh well." and I continued pedaling. I neither saw nor heard an airplane in the area, but sometimes they are too far away to hear, and can be too small to spot at a distance. I thought nothing of it. I glanced up every now and then, and within a few minutes the cross faded away.
Then, to my shock, the outline of a fancy cup, which I would later come to know as a chalice, FADED INTO VIEW. That's when I stopped my bicycle and just stared. How the heck does something like that fade INTO view? It was just as precise as the cross - a clear outline in cloud material, below the overcast layer. Then it too faded away.
Then, a third outline, clear as the nose on your face, faded in. It too was a cup, but didn't have a weighted middle piece like a chalice, but looked like a goblet of sorts, and it was at an angle, like it was being drunk out of, or being poured out. After about a minute or two it faded away.
I waited for a few minutes after that to see if anything else was going to fade into view, but nothing did. I wasn't in any sort of trance, nor did I have some sort of dream like vision. This didn't happen in my "mind's eye" - this was all seen with my two eyes to my own shock and amazement.
If this has any sort of meaning, I'm at a loss to figure out what it is. I know all three of these things are symbols in their own right, but as to what might the appearance of these three things to me in this way might mean - 26 years later, and I still have no idea.
Weird, huh?

By most accounts, my entire existence comes under the heading of paranormal.

I saw an image of Jesus on a rusty tractor trailer bumper heading north on I-85 one time. Would love to have gotten a pic of it. I've seen some really abby-normal stuff though if we want to start a thread about that

Some people say they see the Virgin Mary in this grilled cheese that sold for $28,000. I see Jane Russell, but who would pay $28,000 for a Jane Russell sandwich?
One of my best buds claims to have a gift. He says close friends have been known to show up at his door - uninvited and unannounced - in times of his greatest stress, demanding to know why they are there. He told me this story about two or three years ago when it happened: One day he attended a "Final Friday" gallery walk and saw a painting he admired. He made arrangements with the artist to come back at a later time to consider it more carefully and make the purchase. He arrived at her studio at the appointed time but no one was there. When he saw the painting he heard a voice in his head urging him to take it, assuring him that it was OK. It was very clear, and not his own, he said. But being the honest bloke that he is, he waited for a bit and left slightly annoyed and empty-handed. Later that day he called the number on the business card the artist gave him the night of the gallery walk. A gentleman answered and my friend asked for the artist. The man asked why he was calling, so he laid out the situation. "My mother passed away last night," the man explained.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

I moved out of our former family home in 2000. After a while the new residents were keen to get in touch with us. They laid a wooden floor and said that footsteps could be heard on it at night. Their young daughter was terrified as she felt that someone was coming in to her room. I kept well away as this was giving me the creeeeeps! I often had the feeling that someone was sitting on the end of my bed there at times, and no matter of the heating, I could always feel cold air over my face in bed. The owners did end up calling in someone to do some jiggery pokery but have since moved out. The only answer I can think of is my Father did die at home.
