    I wonder if it's the pipes scaring them off, or that from the vantage point of a rat, there's only one view of a man in a kilt?

    None here, perhaps the presence of the bagpipes in the corner of the room keeps them away.

    If you look closely, you'll see that they are not, in fact, scottish bagpipes at all as they're double chantered! i do wish people would get their facts straight.

    d, but to get to my house, they have to run a guantlet of 8 to 10 barn cats. Needless to say, the only ones I've seen closer are dead.

    If they really wanted to work the rats they would hire a pied piper, not a plaid one.
