My other addiction is guitars and guitar accessories.

Not only about guitars, but perhaps about kilts as well.
My limited understanding of economics leads me to believe that deflation would be a bad thing.
On the other hand, "business as usual"; let alone price increases, strikes me as quite a risk in what is likely to be a very weak consumer shopping market in 2009; especially for discretionary items like kilts.
