Burial at Arlington National Cemetery

This Friday May 25 my wife and I will be attending the burial service for SSgt ANDREW T BRITTON-MIHALO at Arlington National Cemetery. Andrew was killed this April while on active duty with the U.S. Army Special Forces in Afghanistan. His parents are very active members of the Clan Buchanan in Southern California. Andrew was an Eagle Scout and had previously been awarded the Bronze Star for valor.

There will be a piper at the service and full military honors. Several of us will be attending kilted (at the request of the family) to honor Andrew, a fallen warrior of our Clan. Anyone may attend the ceremony which will be held at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel. If you would like to attend be sure to arrive early (at least 1/2 hour).
