Can you read these right the first time? ( Take care-don't read to fast! )

6 The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert.

9 When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.

10 I did not object to the object.

11 The insurance was invalid for the invalid.

12 There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row .

I got 17 out of 20. I mispronounced 8, 12, & 16. (read too fast!)

Nice. I talked about this kind of stuff all the time with my friends. Especially how hard it must be to learn the english language when you see stuff like this. For example,

"I want to live long enough to sing live in front of people"
