Caricature at Work
Okay...I have been called a character many times, but never a caricature.
At work we do a lot of web-based training. One of the things we do for compliance (legal) issues is called Compliance Corner. It has a caricature of the head of our legal department covering various topics - the last one was on what one could and could not do with the company's name and the presidential race.
Anyway, they decided they wanted to address workplace safety in an office environment. Since that is one of my specialties, they decided that I would be a guest host. To do this, they needed to "animate" me. Here are the results:
First, a pretty good likeness of me, if I do say so myself:

Next, for fun, I asked to have them put me in a kilt. Personally, I think he took a little too much liberty with it, making me look like a leprechaun:

I liked the idea, so I tried to merge the 2 together a little more...not terrible:

Finally, here is the full blown real one that they will be using:

The first one IS a good likeness. But in reality, you do look like a giant leprechaun.

Are you talking about Scott Sigler the horror writter/bloggist?
As far as I know it's just an old saying that I've heard'used for years.
