Coming to Chicago!

Just a heads up that I have to come to Chi town for a "new employee" orientation. The division I work for was purchased, and the sale was final on May 1, so now we are going through on-boarding with the new company. I don't think I will be able to meet up with any others (hey AuldArgonian!), but if I do, it would probably have to be Tuesday evening. I fly in Tuesday afternoon, and leave Friday morning. Oh, and I will be in the northern suburbs, Mettawa.

Mettawa? Did they just make that one up? I never heard of that one! (Consults map....) Oh...it's just West of where my daughter goes to school...let's see what happens...it's going to be a tough week for me because I have to paint the house but let me see how it goes....

No worries gents, more of a heads up in case you hear of another kiltie running around. I am hoping that I will get to start coming up more regularly with the new company. This is the first trip in 3-4 years.
