Congrats to Tomak - his son married yesterday

I went to the wedding of Tomak's son to his longtime sweetheart yesterday. Although Tomak and his son are both kilt wearers the decision went against a kilted wedding - outfitting the rest of the wedding party would have been difficult.

So I, as a guest and not part of the wedding party, ended up being the only person kilted. Despite that handicap, everyone had a grand time!

Please congratulate Tomak. John (the groom) is an only child, so this is the first and last time they will be experiencing this magnicent ordeal.

Interesting. My second cousin (a Campbell, and significantly younger than myself) was the sole kilted member of his wedding party without any undue discomfort of the wedding party or any in attendance. But to each his own preference.
    Regards,
    Tom

I suggested to the bride that my son and I could kilt up despite the others not being kilted. She considered it, but vetoed the kilts in the end. Ah well, as we all know a wedding is the bride's day and her wishes are what matters. Despite the lack of kilts it was a fine day and I have a new daughter-in-law.
