Cross your fingers!!!
Since I finished my Masters in August (in Foreign Language Education) and I realized I just wasn't going to be happy teaching at this point in my life, I've been kicking around little jobs here and there, but looking for something real and something I'll enjoy. Soooo, I applied to Rosetta Stone to be a writer (don't go back and look at my posts; I'm not the world't best writer ) and they seemed to like my resume and my Education background. So today I sent off some written responses to questions they sent me in order to "get to know me better". So please pray to whom you will, or cross your fingers or whatever!
I think it's a job at which I could really excel and also with which I'd be happy and that's a rare combination.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

A Masters in your specialty would seem to be the right thing for Rosetta.
Good luck.

Good luck!
My library offers online Rosetta Stone for a number of languages through our website.

Thanks everyone! I'll definitly let everyone know how it goes.
Galician, the job is to write the lessons that are on their CDs. I believe we write in English and others translate, but I'm fluent in German, so I wouldn't mind translating a little either.
McMath, I was about to say yeah, of course. But I didn't see Scottish or Irish Gaelic on their website. They do have Welsh though, oddly enough.
And I used the libraries copy of Rosetta Stone before responding to their questions to get a clearer idea of what the actual job would entail and a better idea of what exactly they were looking for. Thank goodness for libraries!
