Cruise to St. John, New Brunswick

My wife and I are planning on taking a cruise from NYC to St. John, New Brunswick. I'm wondering if anyone might be from the area first of all, and second if anyone can make some suggestions as to entertainment on shore (we will have about 8 hours or so). If anyone is around St. John Saturday, June 23 perhaps we can meet up in a pub for a few pints and some lunch!

I am likelt the closest forum member to St. John, but still about a 4.5 hour drive away by car. I occasionally work in that city. Send me a PM closer to the date and maybe we can work something out.
